what to expect from your
NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY
My newborn photography covers Coventry, Warwickshire, Leicestershire, Birmingham and across the Midlands. Your newborn photoshoot takes place in the comfort of your own home. This means all the things you need for baby are right there, making sure your session is already set in a relaxed environment.
Your newborn baby is utterly precious and ever changing, and I would love to capture those special details for you.
My sessions are entirely led by baby, usually between the ages of 4 days old, up to 8 weeks old.
I am passionate about my work, and as I explain to all of my clients, I love the finer details like the straight posed fingers and squishy toes. This is what makes me different, I am a perfectionist.
I have over 11 years experience of posing newborn babies, and there is nothing I love more. (I do also love the cuddles in between). I am gentle with your baby, and always conscious of baby’s safety which is most important at the session.
I bring up to 4 set ups with me to your session, this is a mix of props and beanbag set ups. The session can take up to 3 hours – this is to allow for feeding and changing of the baby, as well as the cuddles in between.

WHEN TO BOOK
There is no specific time to book, however I can often book up in advance, so to ensure I have availability I recommend getting in touch after your 12 week scan.
I will then pencil your due date into my diary. We would arrange the actual shoot date upon the arrival of your baby.
Occasionally I do have last minute availability so please do message me and check!

WHAT HAPPENS IN YOUR NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY
Newborn sessions can last anything between 2-4 hours (sometimes longer!)
I do not rush the session, it is entirely led by your baby and allows for feeding and changing times.
I bring along a full studio set up, this includes, lighting, backdrop stand and bean bag, as well as blankets, baskets, various props and vinyl backdrops, all to complete the session and ensure you get a good variety of photographs.
I believe your baby’s home to be the most relaxing place for these sessions as its familiar for you as well as your baby.
If there is anything you require at the session please ask, such as including older brothers or sisters in your session.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER
After your photo session, I set to work with the editing of your beautiful images. This can take up to 2 weeks.
When they are ready for you to see, they will be uploaded onto a private gallery for you on my website.
From here, you can choose any images you would like to purchase in your package.

DELUXE FIRST YEAR PACKAGE
My ‘DELUXE Baby’s 1st Year’ package is a great way to record the whole of your baby’s first year, and have some beautiful products at the end to display and share. You get 3 sessions throughout your baby’s first year, newborn photos, then a milestone session when baby can sit up, then the perfect way to celebrate baby’s first year with 1st birthday portraits including family, you can choose to have your final session at one of my outdoor mini sessions.
From the newborn & sitter session you will get all images from each session (minimum of 24 images per session) via digital download
At the end of the year following your final session you will receive a 8×8 album with selected images from all three of your babies first year sessions, a stunning way to look back on your babies first year and preserving those memories forever. Plus a panoramic multi frame of three images – one from each session size (30×14)
