Why I Fell in Love with Lifestyle Family Sessions

Not long ago, I did my very first lifestyle at-home family session — it was absolutely beautiful. The whole morning was so relaxed and natural, and I could genuinely see the love between the parents and their little girl. Watching them simply be together in their own space made me realise how special these moments truly are.

Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to share those images publicly — but I knew I needed to do more of these sessions. So, I put out a model call for families — and the response was incredible! I revisited a couple of my previous clients for a completely different type of shoot.

We had so much fun — the kids were completely themselves in their own surroundings, they laughed, they pulled silly faces, they cuddled up with mum and dad. Watching families so comfortable and joyful together made me absolutely fall in love with this style of photography.

Now, I really want to do more of these sessions — helping families freeze these fleeting moments at home where they feel most loved and at ease.
